Here at the practice we have digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and sonographic ultrasound, all located within our imaging room. Alongside our CT scanner, this gives us an enviable suite of diagnostic tools available to us when pets are unwell, enabling us to make swift and informed decisions.
X-rays allow us to view structures inside your pet’s body. They are particularly useful when diagnosing fractures, arthritis, foreign bodies, cardiac enlargement, and changes within the lungs.
Ultrasound is useful for viewing soft-tissue structures, many of which cannot be seen clearly on x-rays.
